Bowled Over: Trading Blueprints for Bowling Greens
RH Carter Architects
The sun was beaming as the RH Carter Architects team took to the beautiful grounds of the Etobicoke Lawn Bowling Club (ELBC), a longstanding local institution and our gracious hosts for the afternoon. Instead of the annual summer Bocce tournament, this year the team tried their hands at lawn bowling.

What followed was an afternoon of laughter, learning curves, and friendly competition as we swapped out blueprints for bowling lanes. After many heated rounds, our winners took the podium! Kevin and Lidia took first place by storm while second-place winners, Saijeeni and Bryce, also took home the coveted Best Team Name award: Lawn & Order. Alex & Juan rounded out the podium for third place.

In addition to the victories on the green, our office celebrated some more wins a little closer to home: the birth of twin boys to one of our firm’s architects! Congratulations also go out to the team members who recently submitted to an architecture competition for the design of a spa in Portugal—we eagerly await those results. Turning attention to our client work, our partners provided status reports on the exciting design projects we have underway.

Congratulations to our champions and to all of our staff; it’s not everyday you get to embrace something new, but we proved that we’re always up to the challenge.

Together, we came, we saw, and we conquered the green!
